Bioanalytical Systems, Inc.

Anthony S. Chilton, Ph.D., has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Bioanalytical Systems, Inc. Dr. Chilton has served as chief operating officer since December 2008 and interim president since January 2010.

Dr. Chilton has more than 30 years of experience as a scientist and executive in leading life sciences companies in England, Canada and the U.S. Prior to joining BASi, he was in charge of early development programs at Atherogenics, Inc., where he provided consulting and advisory services to pharmaceutical companies. Before that, he was vice president of the Biopharmaceutical Development Division of Cardinal Health Inc.
